Paul urges in Ephesians 4 to live a life worthy of the calling we have received. To be completely humble and gentle. To be patient, bearing with one another in love. And to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
How is Jesus encouraging you to “Grow Up” today? Pastor Steven encouraged us on Sunday to “Grow Up” as we seek the riches of the Kingdom of God. If you find yourself thinking you’ve grown up enough today or that God is all done working and using you let the words of Philippians 1:6 encourage and compel you today, “For I am confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”
One way to “Grow Up” is to spend more time with God. We have an opportunity this weekend for you to do just that. Our Holy Spirit Weekend is taking place on Friday from 7pm-9pm and will continue onto Saturday from 9am-3pm. Consider joining us as we together learn more about how God guides us, who the Holy Spirit is, what He does, and how we live life with Him as followers of Jesus. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
If you are unable to attend, please take a moment to pray for those who will be leading the weekend and for all those participating. Pray for God to move in our midst in powerful ways and for lives to be transformed.
